I have never tried bourekas before so wanted something that would be easy to make but delicious. These were perfect! The directions were easy to follow and the spices were really good. I added pepper simply because I add pepper to everything, but it is not necessary for the flavor. They did not take a long time to make, there was plenty for my family to enjoy, and they were yummy! I can see serving them for both a weeknight dinner or party, a plus. This will definitely be a go-to recipe for me.
